Overview
August was a big one. Responsive Publish grew up this month — you can now preview every screen width live while you design, and a long list of Safari/WebKit rendering quirks finally met their match. The Input Text widget picked up real styling controls, Fastr Publications went full screen on phones, and Fastr Optimize got quietly more private behind the scenes. Fastr Frontend v2
Live multi-width preview
Designing something responsive and hoping it holds up on mobile? No more guessing. You can now preview your experience across multiple screen widths live in the editor, so you'll see exactly how content reflows on a phone, tablet, and desktop before you ever hit publish. Embeds and scaled variants render right in the preview too.
Cross-browser rendering, tamed
Responsive experiences should look the same whether your visitor is on Chrome or Safari — and now they do. We closed a whole family of WebKit-versus-Chromium differences: fill-image boxes that collapsed to zero height, wrap-rows and grid sections that flattened on Safari, embeds that rendered black on iOS, and pages that wouldn't reflow on mobile because a viewport setting was missing. Fluid experiences now behave consistently across engines and screen sizes.
Smarter reflow guidance
The editor is better at telling you what will actually happen when you publish. Boards that can't reflow now get flagged at design time, the Reflows panel shows the true publish state (and how many boards will publish as a scaled image), and a cramped "Min height" label that used to collide with its input has been tidied up. Auto-fit card grids, fluid gutters, and long-word wrapping round out the responsive toolkit.
Embeds that actually run
Custom embed scripts were being XML-escaped on publish, which quietly broke their JavaScript. Embeds are now serialized as HTML, so your third-party widgets, videos, and scripts run exactly as intended.
Input Text widget styling
The Input Text widget is no longer stuck with default looks. You can now set native styling controls, text color, corner radius, padding, and placeholder styling with proper focus and hover states — so your forms match the rest of your brand instead of standing out like a sore thumb.

Version history you can trust
Restore and publish got a lot more reliable. You can now restore directly from a published revision, restoring a snapshot no longer wipes thumbnails across your other revisions, and publish reliably captures the current version rather than a stale one from page load. Duplicating an experience picks up the right revision too.
Experience list & search fixes
Managing lots of experiences? Several rough edges are gone. Live experiences no longer hide behind "Show More," ordering now reflects when you actually published, the metadata strip expands properly on narrower cards, and search stopped dropping the characters you typed (and losing your cursor) mid-keystroke.
Interaction & scheduling fixes
On Click triggers no longer fire by accident when visitors scroll content on Android, Enter Viewport animations work again on Safari, Fade Board transitions reset cleanly, and the scheduling date picker now lines dates up under the correct weekday instead of drifting a column over.
Image Library performance
Large image libraries used to render every single image at once — thousands of elements on the page — which made things crawl. The library now loads efficiently and scrolls smoothly all the way to the bottom, no matter how many images you've got.

Accessibility & SEO text
Content that should be readable by screen readers and ADA scanners now is — accessibility and SEO text is properly exposed on both experiences and publication pages, making your content friendlier to assistive tech and search engines alike.
Fastr Publications
Full screen on mobile
Publications now support full screen on iOS and Android, in both portrait and landscape. Readers get an immersive, edge-to-edge view of your books and catalogs right on their phones — and we shipped a quick follow-up fix to keep that experience smooth.

Adjacent page previews
The publication viewer now shows adjacent "ghost" pages, giving readers a subtle preview of what's coming next as they page through — including cleaner handling of the cover-to-first-page transition in embedded books.
Sturdier content extraction
Importing content into a publication is more resilient. Extraction now retries transient network hiccups, recovers dropped connections, and allows more time for large documents — so big imports are far less likely to stall out on you.
Accessible publications
Publication pages now expose alt text to screen readers and accessibility scanners, bringing your catalogs and books in line with accessibility best practices.

Fastr Optimize
More private by default
Two nice privacy wins. Experiments no longer create individual person profiles in analytics, keeping your experimentation data lean and anonymous. And session-replay text masking now works the way it should — you can actually turn on masking for all text, so sensitive on-screen content stays hidden in replays.
Portal links for every team
On multi-account setups, the Customer Portal link in the Optimize tab used to show only for the primary team. It now appears for every team, not just the primary one, so everyone can reach their portal directly.
GEO comes to Frontend v1
Generative Engine Optimization is now available on Frontend v1, with an embed code option and a team-settings toggle to generate GEO-optimized content for AI answer engines.

Fastr Frontend v1
Navigation & naming refresh
Frontend v1 got some housekeeping to match the current product language: "Pages" is now "Folders," "Brand Assets" is now "Libraries" (grouped alongside Fonts and Integrations), migrated content is clearly labeled "Live in Frontend v2" or "Live in Frontend v1," and the browser tab title was cleaned up.
Bug fixes
We squashed a white screen that could appear at login when a profile had no account team, and fixed an experience badge that clipped its first letter where the status dot overlapped the label.
Under the Hood
A round of migration-fidelity fixes landed for customers moving to Frontend v2 — product tiles, catalog swatches, data providers, and republish reliability all got more faithful — plus a fix so new invitees no longer hit an "Access Denied" wall when accepting an invitation. Add a stack of behind-the-scenes stability and test-coverage work, and Frontend v2 is a little sturdier everywhere.
