Overview
September was a big one. We shipped a feature our power users have been asking for — copy and paste for interactions — alongside a privacy fix that actually matters, a whole stack of responsive-publishing upgrades, faster handling of enormous PDFs, and a long list of editor stability wins. Grab a coffee; there's a lot here.
Fastr Frontend v2
Interactions now copy and paste
Rebuilding the same hover, click, and scene actions on widget after widget? Not anymore. You can now copy all of a widget's interactions at once and paste them onto another widget — and you can copy a single interaction straight from one variant to another. Build it once, reuse it everywhere.
We also fixed a mouseover interaction that misbehaved when "Undo on Mouse Leave" was enabled, and the Change Scene action gained a handy Last option so you can always send visitors back to where they came from. (Change Scene's new option applies to experiences the next time you republish them.)

Responsive publishing upgrades
Responsive publishing got a batch of real-world fixes:
- Max Width that behaves. New pages now start capped at their widest board instead of stretching to infinity, and widening a board no longer publishes it narrower than you drew it.
- Alignment you can actually reach. At unlimited Max Width the alignment control is back — no more silently forced left-alignment.
- Full-width section backgrounds. Sections can now carry their own edge-to-edge background fill while their content stays neatly capped.
- Tiny-screen scaling. Below the narrowest breakpoint, pages now scale down uniformly instead of reflowing and clipping.
- Safari fix. A wrapped row's second line no longer shrinks at narrow widths in Safari.
Published experience fixes
- On Click actions on HTML Embed widgets now work in Safari and Firefox, not just Chrome.
- On mobile, an ordinary vertical scroll no longer accidentally triggers a swipe scene transition.
- Links now show their destination tooltip again.
- We squashed a thumbnail-generation bug that could, in rare cases, overwrite a live published experience — your published content stays exactly as you left it.

Editor polish and stability
- Editing text weight or style inside a published library no longer crashes the editor.
- Input Text widget got some love: the spacebar now works correctly while typing, the text colour now syncs properly to component copies, and Chrome's clunky white focus ring is replaced with a clean, design-controlled outline.
- Pasting text no longer forces your content onto an unwanted new line.
- You can now detach a stroke colour from a library using the link icon.
- Unpublishing a shared library no longer fails permanently.
- The hand cursor now only appears on widgets that are actually clickable.
- We removed some stray debug statements that could freeze the app for anyone who happened to have browser devtools open.

Analytics, bulk actions, and migration
- Large accounts no longer hit a request storm that could leave the analytics view blank — analytics requests are now properly throttled.
- Bulk republish is now limited to experiences that are already live (so you can't accidentally publish something that was never meant to be), and its confirmation warning is finally readable in light theme.
- The Migration Finalize panel no longer caps "Recently Finalized" at 100 entries — every finalized experience is reachable for rollback again.
- Creating a folder that collides with an existing one now handled gracefully instead of throwing an error.
- A couple of custom scrollbars that rendered invisible thumbs are now visible again.
Fastr Publications
- Automatic extraction is now the default for every upload. New publications use our smarter content extraction out of the box — which also means much better handling of very large files. Hundreds of pages and half-gigabyte PDFs now upload reliably where they previously stalled.
- Custom fonts, fixed. We fixed a case where a declared custom font wasn't actually applied to its text, so published pages no longer fall back to a default font.
- iOS full screen. The swipe/slide page transition no longer breaks fit-to-viewport or truncates a spread on iPhones and iPads.
- Accessibility. Publication text overlays are now readable by Windows Narrator in Scan Mode.
- Clearer Book errors. A broken book template now returns a clear, helpful error during publishing instead of failing silently.

Fastr Optimize
- "Mask all text" actually masks now. The session-replay privacy toggle was previously inert — switching it on didn't hide anything. It now does exactly what it says, masking text in recordings as expected.
- Your analytics stay yours. If a site had its own analytics snippet installed alongside Fastr, it could inadvertently capture Fastr's analytics into the site's own project. That's now fully isolated.
- More accurate click tracking. Clicks right at the edge of an element are no longer dropped or misattributed in published-experience analytics.
