Overview
June was all about Fastr Publications flexing its muscles. We shipped bulk import/export for publication links, added single sign-on for protected publications, and made publication analytics a whole lot smarter. Toss in fully responsive groups over in Fastr Workspace and a satisfying pile of bug fixes, and you've got a summer release that's working harder than your beach umbrella.
Fastr Publications
Publication Links — Now with Bulk Import & Export
Managing links across a big publication one-by-one? We've all been there, and it's about as fun as it sounds. You can now bulk export, import, and delete publication links as CSV or XLSX files — build your link map in a spreadsheet, upload it, and let Fastr do the clicking. Import got smarter too, with automatic column inference, image-CTA round-tripping, a handy "Copy media ID" action, and clearer row-level identifiers so you always know exactly what changed. A new toast notification confirms every import so you're never left guessing.

Single Sign-On for Protected Publications
Password protection is great, but sometimes you need your publications to play nicely with your company's identity provider. Protected publications now support single sign-on (OIDC), so viewers can authenticate with their existing corporate credentials — no extra passwords to remember, no sticky notes on monitors.

Steadier Combine Publications
When you inserted a page into a combined publication, overlay links could sometimes linger where they shouldn't — ghostly little clickable spots haunting your pages. We've exorcised them. Inserting pages now keeps your overlay links exactly where they belong.
Canvas Protection for Publication Shapes
Publication shapes have a specific job to do, and accidentally deleting, reordering, pasting over, or duplicating them from the canvas tended to end in tears. Those actions are now blocked for publication shapes, so a stray keystroke can't scramble your layout.
More Resilient Publication Assembly
Our AI-powered publication assembly now retries individual page downloads if a file hiccups mid-fetch, instead of letting one flaky moment derail the whole build. Fewer failed assemblies, more finished publications.
Publication Analytics
Breakdown by Dimension (and Links!)
Analytics are only useful if you can slice them the way your brain works. You can now break publication analytics down by dimension — including by individual links — so you can see exactly which content and calls-to-action are pulling their weight.
Learn more in our Fastr Workspace - Publication Analytics guide.
Every Page Accounted For
The per-page breakdown now surfaces all of your publication's pages — including the ones with zero views. A page nobody visited is still valuable information, and now you'll actually see it.
More Accurate Time & Visit Metrics
We reworked how Time and Visit metrics are calculated, deriving them from real per-page presence intervals and collapsing spread-layout pages into a single session interval. Translation: the numbers now reflect how people actually read your publications. We also added an info tooltip to the Clicks tile so you know precisely what you're looking at.
Phantom Rows, Begone
A few empty, ID-less rows had been sneaking into analytics projections and cluttering the view. We've filtered them out, so your reports show real data and nothing but.
Fastr Workspace
Fully Responsive Groups
Groups now scale like you'd expect. When you resize an experience, a fully responsive group keeps both its size and position pinned relative to the layout, so your carefully arranged elements stay put across screen sizes instead of drifting off to do their own thing.
Interactions Behave on Masked Groups
For masked groups, clickable areas were extending beyond the visible mask — meaning users could trigger interactions on invisible space. We've constrained the interaction hit area to the mask itself, so clicks only register where your content actually shows.
AI Alt Text Fix
AI-generated alt text had stopped generating on app.getfastr.com — not ideal for accessibility. It's back up and running, quietly writing helpful image descriptions again.
Fastr Frontend
Select-a-Record Duplication Fix
Duplicating shapes that used Select-a-Record could break the data connection, leaving you with a "not found" error where your dynamic content should be. Duplicated shapes now correctly carry their data connections along for the ride.
No More Stray Heading Styles
In some cases, text styling from a Fastr experience could leak onto the surrounding host page's headings — an uninvited guest restyling the neighbors. We've scoped those styles tightly to Fastr content, so your experience stays in its lane.
Fastr Optimize (EAP)
Sharper Heatmaps
Some heatmap click rectangles were coming back as empty coordinates, leaving gaps in the picture. We now capture the clicked element's position at the exact moment of the click, so your heatmaps accurately reflect where people are actually tapping.
Smoother Onboarding for Existing Teams
Bringing existing Optimize teams onto the latest setup is now non-destructive — we seed the necessary configuration and republish without disturbing your existing data. Less disruption, same great analytics.
