Overview
This article walks through how to track the analytics data for any of your live publications. You can track activity such as page views, heatmaps, total visits, time per visit, and other statistics for individual publications, or see an overview for your full account.
The Analytics tab should be enabled for your account by default if you have Fastr Publications. If you’re unable to see it, please reach out to support@getfastr.com for assistance.
Once enabled, an Analytics tab will appear in the left-side menu under the Integrations option.
When you open the Analytics tab, you will see the Publication Analytics dashboard, which displays the available filters and a performance graph for your publications.
Filters
You’ll find the filters displayed horizontally at the top of the dashboard.
- Publication: Shows the list of all live publications in your account.
- Period: Select the time period you would like to see the analytics data for.
- Country: Lists the countries the publication is accessed from.
- Browser: Lists the browsers the publication is loaded in.
- Device type: Lists the devices the publication is viewed on.

Analytics Graph
The graph shows the performance of all live publications in your account that are published somewhere and generating analytical data. The available metrics are:

- Time/Visit: The amount of time users have spent on the publication.
- PVs/Visit (Page views per visit): The number of pages viewed per visit by the user.
- Clicks: The number of clicks the publication has generated.
This same analytical data is shown for each publication separately below the analytics graph.
Export: You can export the data as a CSV or PDF by clicking the Export option.
Per-Page Breakdown
If you click a specific publication from the list, you will be taken to the Per-Page Breakdown section, where you can see page-by-page performance of the publication:
- Views: The number of views the page has generated.
- Avg. Time on Page: The amount of time users have spent on the page.
- Clicks: The number of clicks recorded on the page.
You will also see an option for tracking the heatmap. If you click View heatmap on canvas, a new tab opens showing the publication canvas with all the heatmap data generated for the publication.
You can view the data as shown in the screenshot, and customize it by selecting or deselecting options to show or hide the data on the page.
