Overview
We have added support for importing Figma files directly into the Fastr Frontend platform. This can be done from either the Figma Desktop App, or by using Figma in your browser. This article will go through the steps required, as well as FAQs about the process.
How to Export from Figma
- To get started, open up a Figma file that you would like to export

Figma Import FAQs
- How do I export a file that uses Custom Fonts that I've added to Figma?
Answer: Custom fonts require additional steps, in order to make sure they render correctly in Fastr Frontend. This article has the necessary steps for importing custom fonts with your Figma File: Figma Import - Using Custom Fonts
- Will my components be exported correctly?
Answer: Components are supported during the export process. For full details on the specific Figma features that are supported, please view the Plugin Details|
- Why are my images appearing as blank rectangles?
Answer: At the moment, our max image size is 5mb. If your original images are larger than this value, they will not be imported
- How long does it take to export my file?
Answer: This can vary depending on the complexity of the file and also depends on your specific computer. For larger files, we recommend using the Figma Desktop App for the export.
- What is the largest file that I can export?
Answer: At the moment, we recommend your exported ZIP file should be under 150mb. If your file is larger than this size, it might be required to split the file into multiple sections when exporting. Afterwards, you can copy and paste the elements in Fastr Frontend from one experience to another
