Background Widgets

Overview

You can add Background Widgets to your canvas. A background lets you keep elements that don't move when you change between boards - they stay fixed in place behind all of your other Widgets. This can be seen in the following example carousel. Notice how the background image remains fixed in place while the products swap:

This feature can be added to your account with the following steps:

Set-up Steps

1. Contact support@getfastr.com and ask for assistance with setting up the Background. This is one simple step where our support team enables the Background features on your account. Once the support team has confirmed this is in place, you can use the Background in all of your Experiences.
2. Create a group in your Experience called "background" as shown here. Any elements that you put into this group will automatically render behind your other layers, and they will remain fixed in place:
   
   

One key feature is that this is only necessary on the first board. There is no need to set up your image for each board, which can save time across projects. You can see in this screenshot that the background image is only present on the first board:
