Overview

We have just released to production the RBAC (roles based access control) model for the Fastr Frontend dashboard!  This should allow flexibility for your team to manage users independently and give specific access to certain team members. With these new permission settings, there will be a total of 5 different roles that can be assigned across the account.

These new RBAC settings can be found by clicking on your company settings (the three dots) in the top left corner, and then selecting "Members" as shown here: 



Roles

Manager: This is the highest level of access for your account. Managers will have full power on managing content. Additionally, they can make high level changes for the team account set-up. Managers will be able to directly invite users to their account or edit other members roles!

Editor:  Full power on managing content. An editor will not have permission to update other users roles, but they will have the ability to delete content. 

Creator: Power to create, edit, preview content. Anyone with the creator role will have mostly the same permissions, but will not have access for deleting content. 

Integrator: Focused on technical access to integrations, etc. 

Viewer: Only access to view and preview things
