I've pasted text into a Text Widget but it does not look correct - why?

Some times, when you are pasting text from a source outside of Creator Studio (i.e. a Word document, a website, etc.) into a Text Widget, everything might look OK in the Editor but when the Experience is published the text will look very strange or be duplicated on the page.

This happens because some times the text you are copying will try to maintain the formatting that was applied to it from its original source, and Creator Studio may have some trouble reading that non-Creator Studio based formatting.

To combat this, we suggest first pasting the text into a plain text editor like Notepad on Windows, then, copy the text from there and paste it into Creator Studio. Alternatively, you should be able to use the keyboard command of Ctrl (Cmd on Mac) +Shift+V to "Paste as plain text" into a Text Widget.
