NOTE: This method of publishing is no longer being actively supported by our product team and will not receive any updates in the future. We suggest consulting the following article for more information on the latest publishing methods that we offer. Please contact support@getfastr.com with any questions about what publishing method might work best for your website.
When publishing experiences via Legacy Code (aka CNC), some customers encounter an issue where other, non-Creator Studio content will load on the page before the experience does. This can result in the end-user seeing that other content load first and then get moved/pushed down on the page once the experience(s) fully loads.
To avoid this, we've developed a setting that places a container on the page immediately, creating empty space where the experience will be in advance of it fully loading. This gives the end-user a visual cue that content is still loading for that brief time where the experience has not yet entirely rendered.
Please note, in order to accomplish the above, the CNC code is modified by the Reflow setting to include code for a div that is sized the same as the experience. This means that enabling Reflow will require copying and pasting the modified code for any previously published experiences (replacing the old CNC code with the new Reflow CNC code).
Please note - Should any experience's size be changed in the Editor after it has been published with the Reflow code, that code would need to be copied and pasted again to reflect the new dimensions.
For more info on this, or if you're interested in having the Reflow setting enabled for your account, please contact your CSM or reach out to support@getfastr.com
