The Creator Studio Editor has rulers and guidelines that make it clear to see and easily align where widgets are placed within an Experience.
Rulers can be found on each individual scene. When moving a widget onto a scene, the ruler will show a visual cue which indicates the alignment position of the widget based in pixels.
Along with rulers, guidelines help you aligning widgets in the scene.
To create a guideline:
- Position your mouse on a chosen ruler (either horizontal or vertical one)
- Drag the ruler and drop it into the scene
- A guideline will appear and can be used as a helper to align widgets in the scene. You can add multiple guidelines.
To remove a guideline, drag and drop it outside the scene (back to the ruler).
Besides rulers and guidelines you can also use the Position settings to control the placement of a widget in your Experience. The position section is available both when one widget is selected and when multiple widgets are selected.
To select multiple widgets click on one widget, then press and hold Shift and click on another widget. This will allow you to position selected widgets together and also group them.
