Once you are happy with your Experience, it's time to publish it to your website! The following publishing methods are available to you:
- Server-Side Rendering Enhanced Code - this is the recommended option to use as of late 2022
- Legacy Code (aka Creator Native Content/CNC) - this is the most commonly used method. Check out this quick video to learn how it works. We suggest upgrading to our Enhanced Code option ASAP though, if you have not already
- Drag and Drop and Manual Publishing - note: these methods are no longer being updated by our product team
It is also recommended that Experiences follow the Performance Best Practice criteria.
Server-Side Rendering Enhanced Code
This is the fastest method available when it comes to not only publishing your Experiences, but from a performance perspective as well. The Enhanced Code option utilizes the most optimized version of our publishing code to date, with just one line of code being needed to create lightning fast content for your website. More detailed information on this publishing method can be found here.
Legacy Code (aka Creator Native Content/CNC)
This is an incredibly efficient way to publish Experiences, requiring only that you copy a small chunk of code generated by Creator Studio and paste it into the body of your site. More detailed information can be found here.
Drag and Drop Publishing
This method allows you to drag an experience into a preview window to see what it will look like on your site prior to publishing. You can find more details in this article, which also outlines the main difference between Channel Preview and Drag and Drop Publishing.
Manual Publishing
The result of a Drag and Drop Publishing operation is the creation of a channel slot representing the configuration for the Experience or Group to be published, including what specific URL and container to use. With manual publishing, you can enter these settings directly for increased precision. For more details, refer to this article.
